Division (up to 4-by-1) with Remainders--The Wasteful Waltons!
Two-page activity in which students must find quotients and remainders for problems involving different combinations of family members sharing certain foods/materials. Problems range from 2-by-1 division to 4-by-1 division. Can also be used as a pre- or post-assessment on the skill of division. This activity is aimed at 4th grade (specifically 4NBT6), but could be used for 3rd or 5th graders.
