About the store

Experience

I have experience in working with special needs children since 2009 and I worked with children since 2007. I learned a lot through the years in different environments such as: public & private schools, group homes, tutoring agencies, sports agencies and more.

Teaching style

I want to make every student feel included. I want the children to know that they can be themselves no matter what "level" they are at. Meaning, I want to have inclusion for all of the students and a chance to be adjusted to their actual level of ability. JA dig?

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have two teaching Credentials in Mild/Moderate Special Education and General Education with a Master's from National University in Mild/Moderate Special Education. I also obtained my Bachelor's Degree from San Jose State University in General Business.

My own education history

I have always had trouble in school. School has never been a strength for me. I know that I did not have a lot of access to materials that were able to assist me when I needed it given I had learning challenges. I grew up having ADHD, not realizing I might have OCD which I learned later on in life. So, I learned and taught myself different techniques that helped me do well in school and learned what did not work as well! lol.
