Experience

I have been teaching for 10 years and creating my own worksheets and assessments all along, so I thought, "Why not share!"

Teaching style

We often enjoy a variety of things in our classroom from myself teaching a mini lesson, to group activities, and independent practice. We prefer using media and hands-on activities whenever possible to access all types of learners. We use songs, games, pictures, videos, and experiments to help with our journey to learn a new concept. Of course using reading and writing with everything that we do and tying in the other subjects when applicable helps balance out our day.

I attended Husson College where I earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology and a concentration in Science.

Additional biographical information

I love teaching and creating precise tools to help me do it. I would love to share things that have helped me out greatly. I have 4 children at home, so I know how busy our lives can be.
