Experience

I have been working with children for over 30 years. While in college, I taught at a pre-school. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade in the same school system for the last 26 years.

Teaching style

I LOVE teaching - it was the thing I was meant to do! I believe that children's behavioral/ social needs are just as important as their academic needs. I also know my students are individuals and I must always be willing to pivot and change to meet them where they are at and give them what they need.

My own education history

I received my bachelor's in education in 1995 and then my master's degree in 2005.
