This is a hands on, student-centered activity that has students measuring the volume of a drip of water using science equipment and basic math calculations. Students generate a linear equation and do many conversions. This is a great lesson to get kids engaged in math, build relationships, promote problems solving, and try out cross-curricular material at a relatively simple level.
