Updated!!!Now with a digital checklist in Google Sheets, this makes everything easier to keep up with and shows the visual growth of the students!!!!These assessment checklists are made to use throughout the school year. The boxes under each letter/number to check off each correct response and a table is to record data. There are also a PowerPoints for the students to look at as you assess them. This is handy for grouping, parent conferences, and RTI paperwork.
I created these sheets to use during centers. I printed them front/back and laminated them so they could be used over and over. These could also be used in whole group or as an assessment.
These sheets progress for differentiating. These start with numbers to 10, then numbers to 20, and numbers to 30.
Common Core connection:
K.CC.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
K.CC.5 Count to answer "how many?" questions about as many as 2
See how many ways you can make a number with words, dots, tally marks, ten frames, etc. A circle map for each number to 20 and a blank format is included. This can be done in whole group, centers, or independently.
K.CC.A.3 Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
In this pack, there is a sheet for each number from 0 through 30.
On each page, the student:
*colors the number
*traces the number and number word
*find and dot marker the correct number
*cut & paste the pictures with the correct number representation
The numbers are represented with ten frames, tally marks, base ten blocks, and dice.
This would be a great intro to a number, morning work, independent center, for a review, or RTI.
