About the store

Experience

I am a licensed SLP supporting children and adolescents with diverse communication needs. I am passionate about executive functioning, declarative language, trauma-informed care, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy. I love creating resources for parents, educators, and fellow SLPs and/or therapists (:

Teaching style

My approach is strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and collaborative. I aim to design resources that engage families, support educators, and empower students. I believe in combining evidence-based practice with creativity so that therapy feels meaningful and accessible for everyone involved!

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my proudest moments include seeing students gain independence with their communication, watching families feel empowered by the strategies we share, and helping educators feel confident in supporting speech and language goals in the classroom! I’ve also presented workshops and professional development sessions for educators and caregivers on many different communication topics :) I also was an adjunct professor, teaching a graduate-level class on ASD for the SLP!

My own education history

I hold a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Adelphi University. My training includes early intervention, school-based services, and private practice, with a focus on supporting both mental health and communication :)

Additional biographical information

Outside of speech-language pathology, I enjoy writing, creating, cooking, and exploring the connections between wellness, communication, and learning.
