With over 13 years of experience, I create hands-on, inquiry-based learning environments where students explore real-world environmental and social issues through outdoor education and creative projects.
Here's a sample of the Environmental "co-created" contract I have students sign before we begin our journeys outside. We brainstorm the first class of things we need to consider and group them into the 5 categories: Safety, Respectful Interactions, Learning Tools, Preparedness and Routines. This, amongst other valuable lessons and ideas, was found in the free downloadable Into Nature guide from the Back2Nature network.

Teaching style
My teaching is all about creativity, inquiry, and community. You'll find my students learning outdoors, asking big questions, and working together—always with an equity lens. And yes, it's all in French!
Awards & shining teacher moments
I’m proud to have won the Susan Langley Earth Steward Teaching Award for inspiring students to take action. I’ve been featured in ETFO’s Voice magazine, especially for Earth Month, and was the lead writer for the K-8 resource Creating Environmentally and Socially Active Communities. I also contributed to the book Teaching from the Thinking Heart. It’s all about empowering young changemakers!
