Single-Digit AdditionLet’s learn how to add numbers from 1 to 9! Addition means putting two groups of things together to find out how many there are in total. We use the plus sign (+) to show that we are adding. Example: 2 + 3 = 5 → That means 2 things and 3 more things make 5 things altogether! You can use your fingers, pictures, or objects (like blocks or counters) to help you add. Goal: To understand how to add small numbers and find the total.
