Here is a student template you can use for our most popular games, Garbage Can! This version is for 3 digits. As it does not include an operation sign, this game board can be used for 3 digit addition, subtraction or multiplication. It in includes written instructions for how to play the game. We suggest printing off an either laminating or putting in page protectors and having students use whiteboard markers to play multiple rounds on the same gameboard.

This is an activity we like to do with our students to help them with the concept of skip counting and prepare them for multiplication (since skip counting is one of the strategies they can use).
