This is an activity for a teacher and student one-on-one. The teacher will have the opportunity to ask students questions about their lives so that the teacher is able to get to know the student better. The student can also have the opportunity to ask the teacher the questions as well.
These activities involve place value and less than or greater than. The bellringer involves the students knowing the difference between the place values, and the exit slip requires the students to be able to tell which number is larger or smaller. Any simples lesson of less than or greater than could be used in between these two activities.
This worksheet prompts students questions about a specific text and how the illustrations support the author's meaning of the text.
