Design: This bookmark was designed based on the reading response strategies formed by Jan Richardson. This is a double sided bookmark, print it out on 2-sided mode. For the best, long lasting bookmarks, print the bookmarks on cardstock, then laminate them! Use: Students can use these bookmarks to help them develop reading responses during their independent silent reading time. Writing about reading helps build students' reading comprehension.

I have been teaching for 10 years and I am very well versed with the standards, especially in math. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I have tutored with grades 1-10.
Teaching style
I am a true believer in creating engaging activities for the students, apart from the typical text book experience that is prescribed by school districts. Students should have opportunities to collaborate as much as possible, sometimes they can be the best teachers for one another!

I graduated from Purdue University with a BA in elementary education.
