Modern... obviously! I love to keep my classroom vibes very positive. All equals with everyone having a voice. I try to engage all students and make them feel confident while they are in my classroom. I love keeping the students laughing by being as goofy as possible while teaching mathematics. The students will learn when they see that you care about it and they see you put they energy into it.

I also coach soccer, flag football, volleyball and basketball. I began teaching 2 years ago and began coaching the same year. It was the best decision of my life the student athlete dynamic is well worth the time I put in for those kids. Watching them grow has been such a blessing for me and an experience in itself. I am looking to connect to other math teachers / coaching to hear and share experiences.
