Five printable mats to introduce the numbers 1 to 5. Print and laminate the mats and use with playdoh. The student will roll playdoh 'snakes' to trace the numerals 1 - 5 and then a corresponding number of balls to count the number.

This simple booklet goes through each number from 1 to 5 with the instructions 'Paste It, Trace It, Write It, and Draw It'. The student will paste the corresponding numeral and die face, trace the numeral, write the numeral and then draw the quantity.

Five picture puzzles of emoji faces. Students cut out the strips, put the numbers in order from 1 to 5 to complete the picture. These are great to engage older students who are learning this concept. For some of my students I will pre-cut the strips so they are only required to sequence and paste the strips. For some students who are just beginning to learn this concept I will also write the numbers in order on the 'paste' page so the student just matches the number. These can also be laminated
