I created these task cards to allow my 6th graders to practice finding area of composite figures, as outlined in CCSS 6.G.1. Students will apply their understanding of area formulas for parallelograms and triangles to decompose larger, more complex shapes.
I created this Dominoes card match to allow students to practice finding volume of rectangular prisms with fraction and decimal measurements.
Students will match the right side of each piece (length, width, and height of the rectangular prism) with the left side of a different piece (volume).
