About the store
I believe learning should be engaging, meaningful, and fun and I love to create content that reflects that. My goal is to make resources that are classroom-ready, because I know just how valuable our time is! A little about me...I began my teaching career in the smallest state--Rhode Island--where I taught at public schools for 8 years. In 2020, I moved to Los Angeles, California, and spent the next 5 years teaching at private schools. Now back on the East Coast, I'm living and loving life as a stay-at-home mom, while staying connected to education through tutoring and part-time teaching. Throughout my career, I've taught a range of high school math courses including: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus. Geometry has held a special place in my heart since I was a student, and I haven't had a year without teaching it! I've also dabbled in the exciting world of Computer Science. While teaching in California, I was awarded the opportunity to train in the area of social emotional learning. I had the privilege of extra time to practice these skills with my students.. I was also lucky enough to teach some out-of-the-box elective courses way outside the world of mathematics--think Cupcake Decorating, Dance Bootcamp and Crafts!
