Momma Math

Students will read about sugar skulls then design a sugar skull using different symbols that are assigned point values. After students design and color their sugar skull, they will write an expression that represents their sugar skull and it's value. (5.OA.1, 5.OA.2)

Using the task cards, students will identify the property of the equation and solve. This would be great for centers, review day, or formative assessment. You could also use this as a scoot & slide activity!

This would make a great study tool for students being assessed on the 5.NBT.5-7 standards. Also, this could be a great review for the end of the year!

4th graders will review what they learned in Unit 3 of their Everyday Math book. This review can be used to complete in class or as homework.

Students will use what they learned from 5.OA.1-2 to complete a five question quiz. Students will have to match corresponding expressions to statements and evaluate expressions.

This Everyday Math aligned pre-assessment will allow you to see what your students already know about the upcoming unit. Perfect to give to students after unit 4 assessment.

This is a quick, fun activity where your students can show mastery of multiplying multi-digit numbers using standard algorithm and partial products.

This worksheet would be perfect for morning work, early finishers, or a fun center! Students must add and subtract to find the correct letter in the alphabet to solve the mystery sentence. If students solve correctly, the secret message will read: I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!
