About the store
My work with children has grown through hands-on experience in preschool, after-school programs, PTA and children’s ministry. I currently serve in a leadership role at my church, supporting both systems and programs that serve children and families. I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and specialize in creating structured, easy-to-use resources that help children learn and engage. Many of the resources I create come directly from real-life needs whether in the classroom or at home with my own kids. If something works, I believe in sharing it to help others.

About the store

Experience

My work with children has grown through hands-on experience in preschool, after-school programs, PTA and children’s ministry. I currently serve in a leadership role at my church, supporting both systems and programs that serve children and families. I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and specialize in creating structured, easy-to-use resources that help children learn and engage. Many of the resources I create come directly from real-life needs whether in the classroom or at home with my own kids. If something works, I believe in sharing it to help others.

Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in two things: structure and connection. I believe children learn best when they are given clear, repeatable frameworks that help them understand what to do while still leaving room for creativity, play, and personal expression. Structure creates the safety children need to engage fully. I prioritize participation, repetition, and foundational skill-building because these create lasting confidence. Whether I’m teaching academic or faith-based concepts, my goal is always the same: to help children not just learn something, but actually use it in their daily lives.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my most meaningful moments as an educator came from watching my own child gain confidence in something that once felt difficult. After practicing together consistently, she went from needing guidance to independently leading on her own. That moment reinforced what I’ve seen time and time again: when children are given simple, structured tools, they grow in confidence and ownership. In my professional work, I serve in a leadership role where I help create systems, support teams, and develop environments where both children and adults can succeed. I also hold a CDA credential, which reflects my commitment to early childhood development and effective teaching practices. My greatest “wins” aren’t awards, they’re the moments when learning clicks and confidence grows.

My own education history

Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential Ministerial Credential Graduating Army Basic Training Overseas Missions Work My background combines communication, child development, and leadership, which shapes the way I create clear, practical, and meaningful resources.

Additional biographical information

“Momma Tryin’” is exactly what it sounds like... I’m a mom trying my best. I’m a wife, a mom of three, and I work full-time while balancing family life, school activities, and everything in between. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to juggle all of it and still want to be intentional with your kids. My faith is a central part of who I am, and it shapes the way I approach teaching, parenting, and creating resources. I believe in raising children with strong foundations, giving them tools they can carry with them, and creating environments where they feel supported and capable. When you visit my store, my goal is simple: I want you to feel helped. I want you to find resources that make your job easier, support your kids, and remind you that you’re not doing this alone.
