Moms Making Math

This lesson covers an introduction to money management, including the concept of simple and compound interest. It walks students through problems involving calculating interest to understand how quickly a loan can blow up on you or how quickly or slowly we gain in investments. It includes a treasure collecting activity to help apply the concepts covered in the lesson.

This is a stand alone unit on Fractions and Percentages and how to apply it. It includes an application of these concepts to a shopping spree for students to use their knowledge.
