Teaching style

My students learn best when learning has meaning and in a context they can relate to their lives. I work to help students find meaning in math, joyfully problem solve, and soak in the satisfaction of tackling a challenging task. I also know that students thrive when their social emotional needs are met, so we always are in search of creating a classroom community to support every problem solver.
