I taught French 1, 2, 3 Honors, and AP/IB during my 5 yearsin Arizona. My last 3 years I mainly taught French 1 and 2.
I also taught ESL for a year in Taiwan to kids ages 4-18.

Song Performance packet: Dorothee "La Valise" (Language Fair, Culture Event etc)
Here is a 3 page packet to help prepare your kids for a Language Fair/Culture Day/French Dinner event... performance of the song "La Valise" by Dorothee.
What's included:
PG1- Lyrics and a few pictures for filling in (fill valise with drawings of items from the song, and color in the socks based on the lyrics)
PG2- A checklist so that the teacher can keep track of who is bringing what item for the performance (as well as who gets each item back when the performance is over)

Teaching style
My teaching style is very interactive. I like to use lots of TECHNOLOGY. I also like to use lots of activities that get my students SPEAKING and HEARING the language.
Although you see a lot of items labelled with their Bien Dit level and chapter equivalents many of the activities can be used in non-Bien Dit classrooms with non-Bien Dit curriculum. The labels are just there to help out Bien Dit users find what they are looking for faster.

My own education history
I have my undergraduate degree in P-12 French Education with an ESL endorsement. I also have my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialization in Bilingual Education.
Additional biographical information
I have traveled to 29 countries and am fluent in English, French, and Turkish. I can also understand and communicate in Italian, Spanish, and Hindi.
