I'm a self proclaimed Proud Teacher & Learning Advocate. I specialize in integrating social emotional learning skills and Design Thinking in elementary and middle school curriculum.
Subjects I love to teach: math, Language Arts, creative writing, Social Studies, design thinking, social emotional learning, adolescent health, and my favorite, middle school advisory.
My experience encompasses teaching gifted & talented, mainstream, at-risk, and dyslexic & special needs kiddos from public, parochial, and independent specialty schools.

The "Thousands Place Value Mat" benefits students' number sense by providing a multi-sensory math manipulative. The place value mat visually separates numbers into expanded form by their values in the ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands place. The template designates space to record the number in expanded and standard from.
