This is a fantastic resource to add to your explicit teaching about adding and subtracting multiples of 10, 100, and 1000. Consolidates students' understanding of how single-digit addition and subtraction relate to adding tens, hundreds, and thousands. Great to build mental computation skills and further understanding of place value. Included are 6 different activities for both addition and subtraction - that's 12 activities in all. All no prep, all print and go. Enjoy!

I love using games in the classroom. They're such a good way to engage students and allow them to practise and consolidate new concepts in a fun and supportive way that builds social skills at the same time. This game is an excellent way for students to consolidate their understanding of simple addition and subtraction to 20 using fact family triangles and to further explore their concept of the connection between addition and subtraction. I use this game with my year three students when teach
