Teaching style

Alongside many years in the classroom, I now work as a Montessori school consultant and Business Coach, supporting educators and schools in deepening authentic Montessori practice. My teaching style blends practical experience, thoughtful guidance, and a deep respect for the child and the learning environment. As a Business Coach, I also help other early care educators start and sustain their preschool business. You can find my trainings on Udemy on how to start a preschool, market your preschool and gain enrollments, and set your rates. I help preschools go from merely Surviving to fully Thriving!

My own education history

I have a Masters in Education and an AMI primary diploma in Montessori education. Previous to becoming a teacher, I worked as an artist and studied Fine Arts in Chicago. I also have a degree in Bookkeeping and Business Administration, and I am a Certified Small Business Coach.

When I am not creating great classroom materials, I am kayaking, cycling and enjoying the great outdoors in my local mountain town in Oregon!
