These word problems will give the students practice in multiplying, subtracting and dividing. There are 2 groups each with 12 word problems. The teacher may use this as an activity or as a competition. Or the teacher may place the cards around the room and students use the answer sheet as they work the problems. Enjoy! These task cards are the task cards for the second set of my worksheets "Earning Money By Walking the Neighbor's Dog". You can also find task cards for Set 1 of this title.

Teaching style

My teaching, and now my tutoring, has morphed to incorporating visuals and hands-on activities, mental math and worksheets to help students 'see' the math concept, understand it and then practice the topic. I also have developed over 250 sets of flash cards for students to practice dozens of topics. My goal for having a store in TpT is to provide teachers and homeschoolers with very helpful materials so they can help students 'see' and understand the concepts and then practice, practice, practice to develop speed and accuracy.

My own education history

AAS for Medical Technology, BS for Composite Math and Science Education, various Masters level classes.
