Students need to listen/read and then 'think backwards'. This may be done in two ways. A teacher may read each problem, 2 or 3 times, and students listen, analyze and compute the answer, write their answer on a paper or whiteboard and hold up so the teacher may see it. Or, the student, or pair of students may read, discuss, analyze and compute the answers - this may be done as a center to which the students rotate. The answer key is provided.

Students will need to listen and then 'think backwards'. This set of worksheets may be handled two ways. Students need to listen carefully as the teacher reads each problem 2 or 3 times and write their answer on a paper or portable whiteboard, then hold it up for the teacher to see. Or, the worksheet may be given to individuals, or pairs, to discuss, analyze and compute each answer. This way it may be used as a center to which the students rotate. The answer key is included.

Teaching style

My teaching, and now my tutoring, has morphed to incorporating visuals and hands-on activities, mental math and worksheets to help students 'see' the math concept, understand it and then practice the topic. I also have developed over 250 sets of flash cards for students to practice dozens of topics. My goal for having a store in TpT is to provide teachers and homeschoolers with very helpful materials so they can help students 'see' and understand the concepts and then practice, practice, practice to develop speed and accuracy.

My own education history

AAS for Medical Technology, BS for Composite Math and Science Education, various Masters level classes.
