About the store
My teaching experience includes 19 years, in senior high and middle school, in public schools, private schools and a charter school. I taught math, math intervention, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, earth science, physical science and physics.
My volunteering in schools lasted 28 years, spanning K - 12, with most of the years in elementary and middle school. I have been a classroom helper, taught before or after school remediation or enrichment, coached for MathCounts, science fairs and Science Olympiad as well as chaperoned for field trips and competitions.

Earning Money By Walking the Neighbor's Dog
These 4 worksheets will give students practice with real life scenarios. For Set 1, students will multiply and then subtract to find the amount of money still needed. For Set 2, students will need to multiply, then subtract and then divide. Form A for a Set may be used as practice and Set B may be used as the quiz - convenient! Multiplication and Division Matching
Several worksheets for students to practice both multiplication of 1-digit numbers and division involving 1-digit numbers, such as 4 * _ = 24 matches with 48 divided by _ = 8. Students will analyze, compute and identify the number sentence that matches. To save paper, you may want students to use the blank answer sheets shown on the last page. There are several worksheets to use so you have lots of worksheets 'at your fingertips'. Answer keys for all are included.

Teaching style
My teaching, and now my tutoring, has morphed to incorporating visuals and hands-on activities, mental math and worksheets to help students 'see' the math concept, understand it and then practice the topic. I also have developed over 250 sets of flash cards for students to practice dozens of topics.
My goal for having a store in TpT is to provide teachers and homeschoolers with very helpful materials so they can help students 'see' and understand the concepts and then practice, practice, practice to develop speed and accuracy.

Additional biographical information
My small business, Math ETC LLC, has a large math website with over 12,000 problems (and more to come) as well as eight math game apps (and more to come).
