About the store
I have 21+ years of TK–12, community college, and higher education classroom experience in San Diego, teaching English Language Development, ELA, Journalism, Theatre, and Adult ESL. I've worked directly with multilingual English learners across all proficiency levels — newcomers to advanced — in both K–12 and adult education settings. For 11 years I taught undergraduate and graduate CTEL courses at the university level, preparing the next generation of UTK-12 teachers, single subject and multiple subject, to teach, assess, and provide access for multilingual learners in California. My curriculum materials have been field-tested in adult ESL and community college classrooms and secondary ELD and English classrooms with measurable student growth.

Experience
I have 21+ years of TK–12, community college, and higher education classroom experience in San Diego, teaching English Language Development, ELA, Journalism, Theatre, and Adult ESL. Teaching style
My approach is structured, scaffolded, and centered on the whole learner. I blend communicative language teaching with explicit grammar instruction — giving students both structure and confidence to use English in real contexts. Every resource integrates speaking, listening, reading, and writing because no skill gets left behind. These are tools designed to work the first time, for teachers who don't have time for anything less.
