Teaching style
I love teaching reading through the reader's workshop model. Reading strategy mini-lessons, guided reading groups and student conferencing are the essential parts of my reading instruction and my favorite part of the day!
My own education history
I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois. I have a masters degree as a Reading Specialist. I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher.
