You only need flashcards for this game. I came up with this one year when my students were very noisy. This game keeps students very quiet and on task. Also, it gets them active and excited about their math facts. This game can be used anywhere from 1st to 5th grade. We make up brackets and play this game like the college basketball March Madness tournement. This game really helps the students learn their facts and gives them a great foundation for math. I hope your students enjoy this ga
This is a fun and educational packet that will help your students over the winter / holiday break. The packet includes a weather graph, writing pages (with candy cane lines), a poetry page, addition and subtraction word problems, coin work, shapes, and colors. It is geared towards 1st grade students, but could also be used by 2nd graders. The packet is 10 pages long and is a great way to have students do a little home work while they are away from school.
This is a simple game my students love. The game helps students learn and count their coins while having fun. You only need coins, a dice, and student markers to play the game. Works well as a math center. Also, works as a file folder game to send home.
A way to give students choices in your classroom while still having them complete the work you need them to do. You can use this for any subject. Simple yet very effective for getting students to give their work.
This is a fun center for students to learn addition and subtraction facts. You can print this out, laminate it, and use it over and over again. Students really like this center in my room and it helps them learn the relationship between addition and subtraction. I have included a page of dominoes or you can simply use your own dominoes. This center is good for 2nd grade, high level 1st grade, or low level 3rd graders.
