Mostly Geometry

This self-checking activity contains two versions. In Version A, students select all the single transformations that map a given figure onto itself and use the letters to answer the riddle. In Version B, students select the transformation that does not map a given figure onto itself and use the letters to answer the riddle.

In this activity, students work in pairs. Each partner should get the same answer for each number. This is a great way for students to self-check and collaborate. The answer key is included. Extension idea for this activity: Use this activity to lead into the relationship between the sine, cosine, and tangent of complementary angles and similar triangles.

A set of 24 task cards on the transformation unit, printed 4 to a page with an answer key included. Most questions are multiple choice with some short answer questions. Great for EOC reviews, summarizing activities, etc...Doc file is included and is fully editable.
