This is a great game to play with students who are learning colours, weather, and seasons in Spanish. The objective of the game is to time students to see how fast they can get in line. For example, the square may say "yo soy rojo, yo quiero verde". This person will need to find the other person whose square says: "yo soy verde, yo quiero..." My students love this game! I get them to replay it every few days. They are always trying to beat their score, or the other class scores. The game takes
This game is a perfect way for students to get up, move, and practice speaking and reading numbers in Spanish. The objective of the game is for each student to figure out what number they are, and what number they want. They work together as a class, only speaking in Spanish, to get into a line. Put your timer on! For example, the square may say "yo soy doce, yo quiero veinte", so they will need to find the student who's box says "yo soy veinte, yo quiero...". My students love playing this game

This is a HUGE celebration in Mexico. DOD (Day of the Dead) is a cultural phenomenon where traditionally, families come together to visit their deceased relatives. It is a special time where those in the spiritual world, can cross over and see their living family. This reflection sheet is fantastic to hand back to students with their project marks. Taking a few moments to write and reflect on their project/s with guided questions can help students recount what they did well and what goals they would like to set for the next project.

The second sheet is for the students to keep track of their songs and write down their reasoning.
Need a quick game? You can dedicate 5 - 20 minutes and have students get into groups. Once in groups set a timer and have students work together to see who completes the sheet the quickest. Or Have this resource for yourself and pick one activity for students to compete against.
