About the store
My love of teaching was found as a camp counselor when I was in college. Since then, I've worked with kids of all ages, trying to inspire a love for learning about the world around them through asking questions. I worked as a fourth grade teacher in a charter school in Detroit, then moved to a school in Utah in search of personal adventure. I've been in Ogden, UT teaching 4th grade for two years and would love to just share some things I've come up with!

Natural History Museum of Utah Scavenger Hunt
A fun scavenger hunt for your students that need some extra structure when going through the museum! Each exhibit is covered so that students are encouraged to see as much as they possibly can. You can choose to grade it, reward the team that got the most done correctly, or review it as a class and send it home with your students so they can share with their parents what exactly they learned. Some the pictures and sketches make for great memories too!

CHAMPS Expectations - Superhero Theme
A PowerPoint with the CHAMPS expectations for each activity throughout the day (including breakfast, Do Now, transition, Group Work, Direct Instruction, Partner Work, Independent Work, Assessments, indoor recess, brain break, Lunch, End of Day, and small groups). I personally make large posters print-outs of Direct Instruction, Partner Work, and Independent Work expectations as I refer to those most often. An editable PowerPoint that includes a morning display, the Pledge of Allegiance, a call and response that inspires patriotism (as well as some extra social studies knowledge!), and an example on how to present your own school or class pledge! Great for younger students, especially at the beginning of the year. A great routine for encouraging everyone to read and recite chorally!
