PreK Vocabulary-Comparison Words
In order to be successful in kindergarten and beyond, children need a lot of language exposure. Fitting specific vocabulary words in a daily routine can be tricky. These worksheets allow adults to focus on specific words to either introduce or follow up specific concept lessons. Worksheets can be projected for whole group lessons, printed for individual students, or printed to use as point and discuss worksheets for small groups.

Experience
I began my teaching career in 1994. I taught kindergarten for 7 years, followed by 14 years of 2nd grade until I began teaching preschool 3 years ago in the same classroom I began my career in. I have a M.Ed.
Teaching style
I am a very energetic 56 year old who likes to shake things up in the classroom by keeping things moving. The children I work with do not spend very long sitting in one spot. However, my expectations are that they will follow along so that they can be as prepared as possible for the following year. I do think children need a fairly consistent routine that they can depend upon. I believe in teaching my students in small segments so they can develop good habits that they build upon. Since we are unable to attend school due to the Coronavirus, my YouTube videos present small segments of things we would normally be doing in our classroom rug time. The items I have placed on TPT supplement the lessons presented on YouTube.
