This is a document I created for the student to glue into their notebook for math. This is a reference tool for student to easily remember how to multiply and divide numbers by 10, 100, or 1000, by simply moving the decimal either to the right or the left. You can also print this page out big and create a poster for your classroom. Enjoy!

The first sheets start off simple and progressively get harder. The problems in these sheets also work through a logical progression of Common Core Math. Try it out. I've create some Google Form Math review question with embedded videos to help students solve the problems given. Theses forms are very useful as independent assignments, independent study, and homework. Basically for when you, the teacher, can't be present to help! Hope these work for you as good as they worked for me.

Use these 11 daily decimal sheets to help your students practice, and master, operations involving decimals. The operations involve adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing the decimals. Students will also practice turning decimals into fractions and percents. They have to write the decimal in word from as well. I have created these sheets in a scaffolded effort. The first decimal is 0.4, and builds to 2.36.

These two pages describe proportions and show how to solve them, using the "cross multiply and divide method. I have student glue these pages into their notebooks for reference in future assignments. One page is a description, and the other page shows how to solve proportions. I have found, through teaching close to 20 years, that knowing how to set up and solve proportions is the single greatest tool to have. We can use proportions to solve SO many different types of math problem. I hop
