Morning Warm-ups Math Pattern Puzzle
16 pages of morning warm-up activities similar to the sample. Activities should be done in order and get progressively harder. The students need to discover the horizontal and vertical patterns to complete the whole grid. Once they are finished they color or highlight certain numbers. My students usually start their day with these types of puzzles to get them thinking and adding quickly in their head.

Teaching style
I sing a lot and use my undergrad degree of studio art to draw with the students to help tell stories of science and math.
Awards & shining teacher moments
We're teachers, isn't the only honor in what we are doing and the only award is the chocolate around Christmas time. :-)
My own education history
Received my undergrad degree in studio art with a focus in printmaking, photography, and ancient Asian art history. Also a minor in French.
Received my Masters in ESL and then later added teaching endorsements in: computer science, elementary education, middle school science, and middle school social studies.
Additional biographical information
I go rock climbing twice a week, I ride my unicycle for my students at the end of the year and I sing the times tables with my students all the time. I knitted my first quilt last year and got my license to drive a motorcycle. I'm trying to learn the violin and I'm taking Arabic classes for fun. I was born in the U.S but grew up in rural Ontario Canada. I really like guacamole and homemade herb breads.
