About the store
I've worked with students for the past 20 years. I started out as a youth minister for middle school aged kids. Then I worked in after school care for many years while working toward my education degree. Now I've been teaching for the last 11 years. I've taught both 3rd grade, and I'm now teaching math to 7th graders. I absolutely love my job!

Experience
I've worked with students for the past 20 years. I started out as a youth minister for middle school aged kids. Then I worked in after school care for many years while working toward my education degree. Now I've been teaching for the last 11 years. I've taught both 3rd grade, and I'm now teaching math to 7th graders. I absolutely love my job!
Teaching style
My teaching style varies based upon the objective needing to be taught. I prefer to be up and about with my students, engaged in conversation and discussion. I also like to be hands on, lots of interactive activities. Some would consider me an out-of-the-box kind of guy. I just love my students and want to show them that the world can be many things, let's get ready for it.
My own education history
I'm a graduate from Tusculum College, and am currently teaching in TN at a Knox County School.
Additional biographical information
My wife, of 20 years, and I live happily in TN and enjoy spending time with friends and family. We also fostered children in our home.. It's a ministry to us. There are so many hurting children in our world today, that we feel that if we're able to touch the lives of a few, it can make a big difference.
