Mr. Gon

With over 15 years of experience teaching adults and 3 years working with children, I’ve had the privilege of guiding learners at every stage of their journey. I specialize in teaching Spanish and coding—two languages I’m passionate about in very different ways! My background includes teaching in after-school programs, tech-based environments, and community education, which has shaped my dynamic and inclusive teaching approach.

I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and deeply connected to real-world skills. My teaching style is creative, tech-savvy, and student-centered. Whether I’m helping learners debug code or practice Spanish conversation, I use interactive methods, digital tools, and plenty of encouragement to keep students motivated and confident. My motto? “Make learning fun, and the knowledge will follow.”

While I haven’t chased formal awards, my proudest “trophies” are the successes of my students. Nothing beats the moment when a learner realizes they’ve mastered something that once felt impossible—like writing their first line of code or holding a conversation in Spanish. That spark of confidence is why I teach.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, which gives me a strong foundation in problem-solving and technology—two key elements in my teaching. As a native Spanish speaker, I bring authentic cultural and linguistic experience to my language instruction. I’m also continuously learning and adapting new tools to keep my teaching fresh and relevant.

I’m a lifelong tech lover and digital creator who believes computers are more than machines—they’re powerful tools for learning and creativity. Outside of teaching, you’ll find me exploring new software, designing educational content, or enjoying time with my family. I’m incredibly grateful to always have the support and encouragement of my wife and two daughters—they’re my biggest cheerleaders and often the first to test out my new ideas! Every resource I create reflects my belief that learning should be both effective and enjoyable—especially when powered by technology.
