Ice Cream Shop Line of Best Fit Project (Linear Regression)
This project allows students to see how Linear Regression can be used in the real world. Students will be given data and then be guided on how to answer business questions for investors about why their Ice Cream stand is a good investment. Students are given a set of numbers to calculate the line of best fit and use ideas like a positive correlation to be persuasive. Teaching style
I do my very best to make math feel simple and help students feel confident. We often make kids feel that math is hard and I want students to see they can be successful in the world of mathematics.
