Looking for a self-correcting way that keeps kids engages while teaching the all important concept of money? I've included instructions on the first page, so it can be sent home for extra practice, too! This set includes 9 separate tiles, in increasing difficulty. In my class, I simply print out three of each (so there is enough for all) and designate two checkers, while I do small group intervention (using the same tiles!).

Use this hundred chart and decoder to show students the patterns that exist in the hundred chart. It works by students placing the star on the number in question. The decoder (use printed transparencies or cheap paper (too thin)) to see what ten more, ten less, one less, and one more than the number is. Students love that they can figure it out by themselves!
