About the store
I started my journey in special education at the middle school level teaching 6-8th grade students in an alternative school working with students who had moderate to severe social emotional needs and learning disabilities. I am currently working as a literacy learning specialist at the high school level and work with students with reading and writing struggles, manage IEPs, and develop foundational literacy skills. This upcoming school year will be my 3rd year teaching and working in the field of special education.

Experience

This upcoming school year will be my 3rd year teaching and working in the field of special education.

Additional biographical information

I am 23 years old and I live in Colorado with my fiance and our three cats (Grace, Dexter, and Arwen). I love to go hiking, read, and paint when I'm not teaching. Additionally, I love dungeons and dragons and playing video games. I am a special education teacher who works with both general education students and special education students in a co-taught classroom and in a special education classroom.
