Progressive President Assessments
This is an assessment that offers four choices. The goal is to critically analyze if the "Progressive Presidents" are truly Progressive. The students have four different assessments to choose from. Included are a rubric and a "cheat sheet" of topics for each president as well as hyperlinked resources.

Social Studies, U.S. History
Voices of the Harlem Renaissance
Analyze Marcus Garvey and the Poetry of the Harlem Renaissance with both primary documents. Included are Garvey's Speech and 12 poems that speak to the experiences of African Americans during and after the Harlem Renaissance. The activity finishes with an analysis of common themes.

WWI Propaganda-Analysis and Enrichment
Analyze the Library of Congress' collection of WWI Propaganda. Students will discuss the main themes of the posters and finish by creating their own version demonstrating their understanding.
