Teaching style

My style hinges on engagement and preparation. I have spent my years creating lessons that have pushed for open discussion in my classrooms. By incorporating technology with innovative lesson ideas, I have consistently seen growth in my students from year to year. I set incredibly high goals for my students, and work with a strong enough tenacity to help them reach them.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My own education history

B.S in Business Administration: The Ohio State University Master Teacher of STEM Education: Johns Hopkins University.

Additional biographical information

My reason for creating and sharing my ActivBoard Lessons are to save teachers time on preparation, and allow them to focus on teaching. I was a Baltimore City Public School Elementary teacher of all subjects before moving into a staff development position. I enjoy working with new teachers who are experiencing similar challenges that I faced when beginning my career. Thank you to everyone who has visited and downloaded my products. I will keep churning them out, so keep coming back.
