This is a quick and easy one day lesson plan. It is about saving for the future and clearly authentic education. The download is a five-page document: two pages of information, short class exercise and an answer sheet. Make copies of the exercise for the students and pass them out. Watch the kids and if they are having trouble be prepared to make it into a class exercise. I know you know your job.

Teaching style

I like an interactive lecture.. I might make a worksheet and pass it out to the students. But the class would go through it together. The worksheet would be their notes during the lecture. My TpT creations will often have this sub theme; the exercise can be a platform for a lecture. Learning is usually a result of active , even aggressive thought on the part of the students.

My own education history

I have a B.A. in biology. I have graduate courses in biochemistry, chemistry, computer science, accounting, calculus, molecular biology, law, finance. I make YouTube videos under [mrphysh].

Additional biographical information

If the lesson plan is good, the teacher learns something. My lesson plans might stretch the teacher in new directions. The best teachers are always, and maybe even first, students themselves. Most of my professional background is in applied math and applied science and I am striving to create original lesson plans from this unusual background.
