Teaching style

I love creating lessons and labs for my students — it honestly feels like planning a party. There’s always a bit of stress in the preparation, but it’s worth it when students have those real “wow” moments of understanding. My teaching focuses on the whole student, not just the standards. I intentionally incorporate organization strategies, note-taking support, and scaffolds to meet a variety of learning styles within my science classroom. My lessons emphasize conceptual understanding, especially in areas like physics, where students may have limited math backgrounds. I design activities that make complex ideas accessible, engaging, and meaningful for all learners.

Graduated with Bachelors in Biology from Cal State University of San Bernardino Credential course work completed at Cal State University of San Marcos
