This is a 4 week set of warm ups to be presented to a 8th or 9th grade Algebra class with one problem to solve each day. Using this as a warm up or as an exit ticket will make it easier to assess how much the student already knows or how much as been retained from the last lesson.

This ready to use powerpoint lesson is designed to introduce students to the idea of functions and their representations using concrete model, examples, group practice, and cool effects. Students will be introduced to function learn the terminology used with functions and have practice identifying functions using data tables, and graphs. Students will learn to evaluate algebraic expressions using function notion and finding the functional values on a graph.
