This math "Maze" is a leveled system for students to independently practice addition skills. The skills include: 3 digit + 3 digit 6 Digit + 6 Digit 4 digit + 6 digit Adding 3 #'s (All different digits) decimal + Decimal Decimal + Whole number Whole number + Decimal + Decimal Students work their way up levels, which is very motivating! Sometimes I even give a piece of candy when they complete a level. It makes addition practice much more engaging and leaves much of the prep work at the door.
I use these math fact tracking sheets for students to log their math facts every day when doing timed facts tests. The assignment portion of the log allows you to put which facts they are working on, whether its multiplication, division etc. My favorite part is the space where students can write the facts they missed on the test. This helps them reflect on which facts they need to work on. Over time, students really gain ownership of their facts and start to see trends in their growth!
