This is a great way to help keep your students organized! I usually print two to a page to make them a half-page size. Every week, I update them with current missing assignments, my students check things off as they are completed, and then bring me their checklist so I can double check! Who doesn't love to read words of encouragement before a big day, especially from the people we love the most? Every year, before the STAAR test, I send home a manila envelope with this paper inside. I ask that they write an encouraging note on the back of the cookie, then send it back to school in the envelope. From there, I laminate and cut it out, and place it on their desk along with a bag of cookies with a smart cookie tag!
