Experience

I’m a 4th-year 3rd grade teacher in my first year of inclusion, and I love creating a classroom where every student can succeed. Teaching at a Title I school has taught me how to be flexible, creative, and resourceful—always finding ways to make lessons engaging, meaningful, and accessible for all learners. My resources are designed to save teachers time while giving students the structure, support, and excitement they need to grow.

Teaching style

I believe in creating structured yet flexible lessons that meet students where they are. My classroom is student-centered, with small-group instruction, clear goals, and engaging activities that make learning meaningful. I love incorporating creativity, local culture, and social-emotional support so students feel both challenged and cared for. My resources are designed to be practical, standards-aligned, and easy for teachers to implement right away.

My own education history

I graduated high school in Idaho in 2004 and moved to Hawaiʻi in 2010. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I spent years volunteering in my children’s preschool and elementary schools until my youngest started kindergarten (while my oldest was in 5th grade). I’ve coached youth sports, taught Hawaiian Studies for kindergarten and 2nd grade, and now I’m a proud 3rd grade inclusion teacher in a Title I school. These experiences have shaped me into the teacher I am today—flexible, creative, and passionate about helping every child succeed.
