Preview of Plane Shapes Sorting Activity

This fun printable allows you to sort plane shapes with your students in whole group or small group on the board (just add magnets) or by creating an anchor chart by gluing the pieces to cart paper. This printable would also be great as a center activity! I have included the names of the triangles and quadrilaterals. Experience

Teaching style

I believe in hands-on, interactive learning. When students are allowed to explore ideas and draw their own conclusions it makes a bigger impact, and there is better retention of concepts. At the same time, I understand that students must be able to "show what they know" on written assessments, so I always add a pencil and paper task. I also believe that learning should be FUN!
